Junior Software Tester

Bliss IT Solution and Innovation is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Software Tester to test our SahiBill GST Billing & POS Software. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, accuracy, and reliability of our billing application.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of manual testing, test case preparation, bug reporting, and software quality assurance. Candidates interested in testing real-world billing and business applications are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of SahiBill Billing & POS Software.
• Understand application requirements and business workflows.
• Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Test billing, GST calculations, invoice generation, and payment workflows.
• Validate product management, inventory, customer management, and sales reports.
• Verify discounts, taxes, stock updates, and transaction calculations.
• Identify, document, and report software defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Perform regression testing after bug fixes and new feature releases.
• Test application functionality, usability, and data accuracy.
• Perform API testing and database validation when required.
• Collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve issues.
• Maintain test documentation and prepare testing reports.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of Software Testing Fundamentals.
• Understanding of Manual Testing, SDLC, and STLC.
• Ability to write and execute test cases.
• Knowledge of functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts.
• Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of GST billing software or POS applications.
• Familiarity with Jira or other bug-tracking tools.
• Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman.
• Understanding of web and mobile application testing.
• Knowledge of SQL queries for database validation.
• Exposure to automation testing tools is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹1,000.00 - ₹5,000.00 per month
