Job Summary

Fillip Technology is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Software Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate should have basic experience in software testing, test execution, defect identification, and reporting. The candidate will work closely with developers and senior QA team members to ensure software applications meet quality standards and function as expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute test cases and test scenarios to verify software functionality.
• Identify, document, and report bugs or defects to the development team.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing features continue to work after updates.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate application functionality against business requirements.
• Prepare and maintain test cases, test data, and testing documentation.
• Retest resolved defects and verify fixes before release.
• Coordinate with developers and senior testers to understand requirements and resolve testing issues.
• Assist in functional, integration, and compatibility testing as required.
• Maintain clear records of test results and communicate testing progress to the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Practical knowledge of test execution, defect logging, and regression testing.
• Familiarity with UAT processes and test case preparation.
• Experience with bug-tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with developers and QA team members.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
