Junior Sous Chef (5 days work)

The incumbent is responsible for assisting Sous Chef in kitchen operation in Chinese and Western cuisine for the club restaurant. He/she is also monitoring the hygiene in high quality standard.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Sous Chef in preparation and production in Chinese or Western cuisine for club restaurant, events and other functions;
• Ensure consistent high quality and standard in food production;
• Assist in menu planning, food promotions and cost control etc.;
• Clean and maintain kitchen hygiene; and
• Perform ad hoc tasks and assignments as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

• Form 5 or Diploma holder in Hospitality Management or related disciplines;
• Minimum 3 years Chinese or Western kitchen experience;
• Knowledge of food health, safety and hygiene compliance; and
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.

Work Location: Discovery Bay
