Junior Sous Chef

Roles and Responsibility

• Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
• Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance culinary offerings.
• Manage inventory of food supplies and ingredients, ensuring minimal waste and optimal freshness.
• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, providing guidance on cooking techniques and presentation standards.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring timely delivery of orders and exceptional service.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer experience.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and regulations, with attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software, with quick learning and adaptation abilities.
