Job Responsibilities

• Support the Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine in daily kitchen operations and service.
• Supervise and guide kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient food preparation.
• Assist with food preparation, cooking, plating and service while maintaining consistent quality.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, inventory checks and minimising food wastage.
• Support menu preparation, recipe implementation and kitchen SOP compliance.
• Ensure kitchen equipment, workstations and storage areas are clean, organised and properly maintained.
• Assist with staff training, scheduling and other kitchen duties assigned by the Chef.

Job Requirements

• Relevant culinary qualification or professional kitchen training.
• At least 2 years of relevant kitchen experience, preferably in a restaurant, hotel or hospitality environment.
• Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
