- Assist the Chef in planning and organising daily cake and pastry production
- Ensure all products are made according to approved recipes, specifications and company standards
- Monitor product quality, including taste, texture, appearance, portion and consistency
- Supervise and allocate daily production tasks among the pastry team
- Ensure production is completed on time according to orders, stock requirements and daily schedule
- Assist with new product development and seasonal product preparation
- Monitor ingredient usage, stock levels and production wastage
- Follow company SOPs and maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment
