Junior Sous Chef/Sous Chef/CDP

Feather is a new independent restaurant opening on Whiteladies Road, built around fried chicken, poultry-led dishes, good wine, cocktails, and a warm, lively dining room. The vibe is friendly and casual, but with a strong emphasis on fresh food, high quality, and unique dining experiences.

We’re looking for a Junior Sous Chef to help lead the kitchen from launch. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef/owner on prep, service, ordering, kitchen systems and maintaining high standards as the restaurant grows. You will also be part of opening, so will help to develop dishes in the week prior to opening. Your own ideas and inspiration will be welcome!

Experience in busy kitchens is essential. Pride in food, and the ability to support and motivate a small team matter just as much.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting daily prep and service
• Helping lead the kitchen team
• Maintaining food quality, cleanliness, and consistency
• Assisting with ordering, stock control, and kitchen organisation
• Contributing ideas for specials and menu development

Parking is not an option without a residents permit, so we are looking for someone living locally or who can commute reliably to BS8 2PB

We’re looking for someone reliable, ambitious, and genuinely excited to be part of Feather from the beginning.

Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
