Junior Specialist – PCB Design

About the role

Responsibilities

• Create PCB layouts based on customer requirements and specifications.
• Check BOMs and design files for accuracy and completeness.
• Generate Gerber files, BOMs, and fabrication/assembly drawings.
• Assist in checking PCB designs for production requirements.
• Follow IPC standards and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) guidelines.
• Coordinate with engineers and manufacturers regarding design concerns.
• Maintain and organize design documents and project files.
• Ensure proper version control of design files.
• Assist the Design Team in meeting quality and productivity targets.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS ECE, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related course.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• At least 1 year of related experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of PCB design, electronics, or manufacturing processes is an advantage.

Skills

• Basic knowledge of PCB design and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with single-sided and multi-layer PCB designs.
• Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM and Gerber files is an advantage.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot basic electronic circuits.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
