Junior Steel Structural Engineer

About the role
Long Faith Engineering Limited is seeking a skilled and dedicated Junior Steel Structural Engineer to join our team in Tuen Mun District.

Responsibilities:

1. Review and calculate the client's drawings and propose feasible cost-saving design solutions.

2. Design the steel structure and calculate stress conditions and provide shop drawings for the client's approval.

3. Communicate with the clients, consultants to resolve technical issues during construction.

4. Follow up on the steel structure production progress at the mainland factory to ensure it meets quality and schedule requirements.

Requirements:

1. Degree holder, preferably in Civil / Structural Engineering or related disciplines.

2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in steel structure projects.

3. Experience in a main contractor and/or design company is preferred.

4. Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

5. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Tekla or MS Project is an advantage.

6. Be willing to go on business trips to mainland China.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues from different departments.

Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.

Willingness to undertake relevant training and professional development.
