JUNIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER – BIM / STRUCTURAL PRODUCTION

BASIC OR ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE

• Knowledge of basic structural analysis and design principles for concrete, steel, wood, and mixed structural systems.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with emphasis on structural drafting, BIM modeling, and construction documentation.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows and structural model coordination.
• Understanding of structural design codes and standards.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and coordinate structural requirements between disciplines.
• Ability to prepare, review, and coordinate structural drawings, details, schedules, and technical documentation.
• Basic understanding of structural construction methods, materials, and typical structural systems.
• Basic project management principles for tracking deadlines, revisions, coordination requirements, and deliverables.

EDUCATION

Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.

Intermediate English level required for technical documentation, reading construction documents and codes, and basic communication with international project teams.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 2 years of experience in structural engineering, structural drafting, BIM modeling, or related fields.

Experience with Revit and AutoCAD is required. Experience in structural documentation, BIM coordination, multidisciplinary projects, or U.S.-based projects is preferred.

JOB OFFER

Salary offer between 3.000.000 a 3.500.000 COP , depending on experience and technical proficiency.

Hybrid work model from Monday to Friday, with availability to work on holidays as required by project needs.
