Junior System Analyst

Manage and update critical reference and supporting documentation for various Food Retail Business Unit projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering IT solutions to Food Retail Business Units.

• Proactively monitor Changes/Projects (CHs) and Service Requests (SRs) through the IT Services (ITS) intake process.

• Update assigned Change (CHs) tasks using the ManageEngine platform.

• Coordinate with and guide different business units within the Food Group to ensure complete and accurate requirements gathering.

• Assist Senior Manager - Project Managers (PMs) and System Analysts (SAs) in collaborating with technical teams to deliver robust system solutions and designs.

• Flag potential system impact on existing systems and recommend mitigation steps into the design.

• Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mappings, diagrams, and flowchart for developers and testers as guided by the Senior Manager - Project Managers (PMs) and System Analysts (SAs).

• Coordinate with the developers to define and execute testing procedures and scripts.

• Review test cases provided by the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure high-quality standards.

• Create and maintain documentation, including process maps, user guides, manuals, and training materials, updating them whenever changes occur.

• Act as the secondary liaison between the ITS department and business users.

Other Duties:

• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
• Maintain flexibility for relocation or travel to support the IT needs of various Food Retail Business Units.
• Execute formal handover procedures to the Service Operations team upon project completion and user acceptance.
• Provide escalation guidelines to business units in alignment with company standards.
• Provide timely on-call and on-site support as requested by management.
• Promptly respond to company communications from business and within ITS.
• Comply with all company standards, including data privacy, security protocols, and ITS policies.

Key Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a relevant field.
• Recent graduate or has up to 1 year of experience in project and technical documentation.
• Experience in formulating standards and procedures.
• Experience in creating process and business flowcharts.
• Basic knowledge of business or systems analysis.
• Up-to-date knowledge of or hands-on experience with MS Office 365 and MS Visio.
• Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a plus, but not mandatory.
