Junior System Developer

The Junior System Developer supports the design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of software applications and business systems. The role works under the guidance of senior developers and IT professionals to develop reliable solutions that meet business and user requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and internal systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code based on established programming standards.
• Analyze user and business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs, errors, and system issues.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of applications.
• Assist with database development, queries, and data management.
• Maintain and update existing applications and system features.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, and user guides.
• Collaborate with senior developers, system analysts, QA testers, and other departments.
• Assist with system deployment, configuration, and implementation.
• Monitor application performance and help identify opportunities for system improvements.
• Provide technical support to users when required.
• Stay updated on new programming languages, development tools, and technology trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
• Basic knowledge of software development principles and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, PHP, or VB.NET.
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Git or other version-control systems.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of frameworks such as React, Angular, .NET, Spring, Laravel, or similar technologies.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Knowledge of software testing and debugging tools.
