Junior System Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Jr. System Engineer to join our team in Bataan. You will assist in managing IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and security while providing technical support to ensure smooth and reliable day-to-day operations.

This role is ideal for an IT professional who is interested in developing their skills in system administration, network management, cybersecurity, IT asset management, and technical support.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain company IT assets, systems, and infrastructure.
• Monitor networks, servers, and systems to ensure availability, performance, and reliability.
• Assist in monitoring and responding to cybersecurity threats and security incidents.
• Implement and maintain basic IT security controls and procedures.
• Perform troubleshooting and provide technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Provide helpdesk support to employees and assist in resolving IT-related concerns.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, software, and other IT equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, equipment, software, and system configurations.
• Assist with system updates, backups, maintenance, and other IT operational activities.
• Escalate complex technical or security issues to senior IT personnel when necessary.
• Follow company IT policies, security standards, and procedures.
• Perform other IT-related duties and projects as assigned.

About You

• Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related field.
• Preferably with 6 months to 1 year of relevant IT experience.
• Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and relevant training may also be considered.
• Basic knowledge of networking, system administration, hardware, software, and IT security.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting computers, networks, and other IT equipment.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and best practices is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple technical concerns.
• Willing to learn new technologies and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
