Junior Systems Developer – Redstone Arsenal

Security: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance

Position Summary

MaryBelle Solutions is seeking a Junior Systems Developer.

This position will support the development, testing, troubleshooting, integration, and documentation of software and data solutions used to support Army logistics and analytical operations.

The Junior Systems Developer will work under the technical direction of a Lead Data Systems Developer and collaborate with data analysts, logistics professionals, and Government technical stakeholders. The SCOS requirement specifically identifies this role as supporting coding, testing, documentation, and software lifecycle development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software, scripts, data-processing routines, and workflow automation.
• Support application, database, API, and systems-integration activities.
• Write and troubleshoot code and scripts.
• Assist with SQL/database queries and data-processing activities.
• Perform unit, integration, regression, and user-support testing.
• Identify and troubleshoot application, data, interface, and configuration issues.
• Document test results and assist with defect resolution.
• Maintain technical documentation, configuration records, user guides, and test procedures.
• Support version control, configuration management, software releases, and deployment documentation.
• Assist the development team with RMF/ATO and cybersecurity-related documentation.
• Work with analysts to translate operational requirements into technical solutions.
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and auditability.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with programming, scripting, software development, testing, or systems integration.
• Experience with at least one programming or scripting language.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
• Understanding of software-development lifecycle concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to document technical work clearly.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a technical team.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to satisfy the contract-required SECRET security clearance requirements before performing contract work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent demonstrated technical experience may also be considered.
• Experience with one or more of the following:
• Python
• PowerShell
• C# / .NET
• JavaScript
• SQL
• REST APIs
• Git/version control
• Microsoft Power Platform
• Power BI
• SharePoint
• Azure or AWS
• Experience integrating applications, APIs, databases, or enterprise systems.
• Experience supporting DoD, U.S. Army, Federal Government, or other regulated environments.
• Familiarity with RMF, ATO, DISA STIGs, NIST controls, or cybersecurity documentation.
• Experience supporting logistics, ERP, supply-chain, warehouse-management, or analytics systems.
• Current or recently active SECRET clearance is strongly preferred but is not required to apply.

Compensation

$90,000–$110,000 annually, depending on experience, technical qualifications, clearance status, and relevant DoD/Army experience.
