Junior Tax Associate

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare tax returns for monthly, quarterly and annual filings and ensure strict compliance to BIR deadlines.
• Reconcile tax accounts to ensure accuracy in financial statement reporting
• Prepare for, and assist with, transaction tax audits.
• Perform tax reconciliation statement (tax return vs books), tax recon entries and analysis, tax schedules for external and internal users.
• Do escalations with superior on time (as needed), recommend proper resolution of such incident/escalations.
• Recommend and implement improvement on current processes related to functional assignment.
• Conduct training and seminars a needed for the organization.

Qualifications:

• With 2 to 3 years of Local Tax Accounting experience in the areas of VAT, Withholding and Corporate Income Taxation.
• Knowledge in logistics, wholesale and technology industry tax is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft.
• Advanced communication skills and ability to express complex issues in an understandable manner.
