Job Description

Mass Technologies Co. is looking for a motivated and hardworking Junior UPS Technician / Electrical Technician to join our technical team. The ideal candidate should have basic electrical or mechanical knowledge, be willing to learn, and be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.

The selected candidate will assist our technical team with UPS installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair support, battery replacement, and on-site technical services at customer locations, including hospitals, laboratories, offices, and commercial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of UPS systems.
• Support senior technicians in UPS troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repair work.
• Perform UPS battery replacement, battery connections, and basic battery testing under appropriate supervision.
• Assist with the installation of electrical equipment, cables, wiring, and related accessories.
• Help with the loading, unloading, movement, and safe handling of UPS systems, batteries, and technical equipment.
• Visit customer sites for installation, preventive maintenance, inspections, and repair services.
• Assist with the installation and servicing of electrical and power backup equipment.
• Follow technical instructions, workplace safety procedures, and customer-site requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and basic service records.
• Travel within Karachi and to other cities when required for installation or service assignments.
• Work flexible hours occasionally when project requirements or customer service schedules demand it.

Requirements

• Matriculation, Intermediate, or DAE in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Technology preferred.
• Fresh candidates with relevant technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring, batteries, tools, and electrical safety.
• Interest in UPS systems, power backup solutions, and technical fieldwork.
• Willingness to learn from senior technicians and develop practical technical skills.
• Physically fit to assist with equipment handling and battery movement, using safe lifting practices.
• Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, and at customer locations.
• Willingness to travel outside Karachi when required.
• Punctual, responsible, hardworking, and professional in dealing with customers.
• A valid motorcycle driving licence and personal transport will be an advantage, if applicable.
