Junior Technical Service Support

Goals

To keep a clean inventory

To have stock turning while meeting sales goals

To fulfil service requests from customers

To repair electronic and computer equipment in-house

Responsibilities

Execute the receiving and storing of material, equipment, merchandise and supplies.

Provide for inspection the incoming of material against order and specifications for correctness and defects. Liaise with Line Manager regarding returning of defective material.

Respond to request for emergency repairs and repairing troublesome equipment.

Repair and correct malfunctions as necessary.

Modify or update equipment when required.

Maintain tools, test equipment etc.

Assist in maintaining spares stocks of all equipment to agreed levels.

Maintain agreed equipment stock levels and liaise with Line Manager when to amend this.

Receive faulty units into the warehouse to clean and re-conditions them, to be re-used in the SRE system.

Advise admin staff when collections have been received, so that invoices can be generated.

Keep a list of equipment that is used in SRE repairs and provide Admin staff with list at the end of month for stock check.

Create an order for goods needed to be ordered from USA factory.

Packing goods up to be dispatched and attaching courier labels to packages.

Liaising with courier staff for items to be delivered, ensuring manifest is signed and filed.

General office duties.

Full training will be given.
