Junior Technical Translator

Role Summary

We are looking for a Junior Technical Translator to support our team in delivering patent translation services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and the capacity to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

What Will You Do?

• Follow up on the outsourcing of patent translations to ensure their fast and timely turnaround and maintain a calendar of deadlines related to all assigned matters;
• Check and review templates, layouts, fonts, scientific terms, and their equivalents as needed to comply with conditions of formal examinations for acceptance of patents;
• Translate patent related documents at any stage of the patent prosecution process; and
• Attend to any other tasks, as may be needed, to fulfill the duties defined above.

What Are We Looking For?

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation;
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Translator;
• Proficiency in using Trados Studio is required;
• Experience in Technical Translation is a plus;
• Strong proofreading skills; and
• Fluent in English and Arabic. French is a plus.
