Junior Technician (Air Balancing / Cleanroom Testing)

Important: This role requires regular outstation travel and weekend work. Please apply only if you are fully willing to do both.

About Us

Skud Technical is the only company in Malaysia internationally certified for both air balancing (TAB) and cleanroom testing (CPT). We test and verify HVAC systems for data centres, semiconductor plants, pharmaceutical facilities, hospitals and commercial buildings.

We are hiring 6 Junior Technicians across two teams:

Air Balancing (TAB): measuring and adjusting airflow in air conditioning and ventilation systems so buildings perform to design.

Cleanroom Testing (CPT): testing controlled environments such as semiconductor, pharmaceutical and hospital cleanrooms for cleanliness, filter integrity and room pressure.

The Role

This is an entry-level role for fresh graduates. We will train you from zero. You will work on project sites across Malaysia.

What You Will Do

• Measure airflow, pressure, temperature and humidity using testing instruments
• Adjust dampers, fans and diffusers so systems perform to design
• Test cleanrooms for particle count, filter leaks and room pressure
• Record readings accurately on test sheets
• Prepare, maintain and care for testing instruments
• Help engineers prepare test reports
• Follow site safety rules at all times

Requirements

• SKM Level 3, Certificate or Diploma in Air Conditioning, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Instrumentation
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. No experience needed
• Must be willing to travel outstation regularly
• Must be willing to work weekends when projects require (overtime paid)
• Comfortable working on construction sites and in plant rooms
• Careful, accurate and willing to learn
• Basic Excel skills
• Own transport and driving licence preferred
