Junior Technician for Head Office

About the role

KC Wonderland Corp. (World of Fun) is seeking a Junior Technician for Head Office to join our Engineering team in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to develop your technical skills within a dynamic organisation. You will be working on-site at our head office, contributing to the maintenance, repair, and support of electrical and electronic systems that keep our operations running smoothly. This role is essential to ensuring the reliability and safety of our technical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

1. Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and electronic equipment and systems
2. Support senior technicians in troubleshooting technical issues and identifying root causes of equipment failures
3. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and components
4. Help maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
5. Follow safety protocols and comply with all relevant electrical and safety regulations
6. Assist in testing and commissioning of new electrical and electronic installations
7. Support the documentation and organisation of technical documentation and spare parts inventory
8. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule and to specification

What we're looking for

1. A qualification in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related technical diploma or certification
2. Basic understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and electronic components
3. Knowledge of electrical safety standards and practices
4. Proficiency in using standard testing and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters and circuit testers
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical work
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a logical approach to troubleshooting
7. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
8. Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise under the guidance of experienced technicians
9. Physical ability to perform the demands of the role, including standing, climbing, and handling equipment
10. Preferably, previous experience as a technician or in a related technical support role
