Junior Technician (Rawang/Alam Perdana)

Working Hours: 9am to 5:30pm (Monday to Saturday)

Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment at petrol stations, including fuel dispensers, forecourt equipment, and wash systems. Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and ensure equipment is functioning properly.

What you'll be doing

• Maintenance and Repair:

Performing maintenance checks, troubleshooting faults, and repairing or replacing damaged equipment or spare parts.

• Installation and Commissioning:

Installing new equipment, testing and commissioning.

• Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:

Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions to restore functionality.

• Customer Interaction:

Communicating with customers about service needs and addressing their concerns.

• Safety:

Adhering to safety regulations and procedures when working with equipment and materials.

• Documentation:

Keeping records of work performed, including service reports and maintenance logs.

What we're looking for

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or experience in related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and equipment schematics.
• Familiarity with safety procedures in hazardous environments (e.g., IEC standards, fire safety, and fuel handling regulations).
• Ability to follow company and legal health and safety protocols.
• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently under pressure to resolve urgent technical issues.
• Able to handle tools and equipment and work in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to travel between multiple station sites and work flexible hours, including weekends or nights when required.
• Possess own transport for travelling between sites.
• Possess a valid driving license.
