Junior Trader

Manuchar is looking for an ambitious Trader to drive the growth of our Steel business in South America. Based at our headquarters in Antwerp, you will develop strong customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and expand our market presence. You will work in a truly international environment and travel regularly to South America and occasionally worldwide. If you are passionate about international sales and enjoy closing deals, this role is your chance to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a profitable customer portfolio in South America.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities.
• Negotiate and follow up on international sales and purchase transactions.
• Define the strategic direction for your region and product portfolio.Take a hands-on role in solving operational challenges.
• Travel regularly to South America and occasionally worldwide.

Your Profile

• Min. Bachelor degree with a first commercial experience in an international (logistics) environment.
• Strong passion for international sales with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Fluency in Spanish English; Dutch is an asset.
• Proactive, flexible, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Skilled at building relationships across cultures and comfortable with frequent travel.
• Hands-on, solution-driven, and eager to tackle operational issues.
• Based in Belgium, ideally in the Antwerp region.
