Who you are

• You have a genuine interest in markets, statistics, and risk management
• Experience with, or ability to pick up, Polars
• You can write solid Python and are comfortable finding signal in large, noisy datasets
• You're pragmatic: you go after the low-hanging fruit before chasing complexity
• You can spot patterns and identify where value is hiding, even when it isn't obvious
• You follow instructions carefully and reliably — precision matters when risk is live

What the job involves

• Sitting on the trading desk: monitoring markets, managing live risk, and tracking price drivers as they develop
• Using data analysis to identify new trading strategies and sharpen existing ones
• Turning research into practical, deployable ideas — not just analysis for its own sake
• Working closely with senior traders, taking direction well while contributing your own observations

The application process

• 1. Apply with your profile and CV
• 2. Video call with our CEO
• A 90-minute technical interview with our CTO. You’ll be given a Python coding problem to solve during a 60-minute coding session, with your camera off so you can focus on the task. You’re encouraged to ask questions and seek clarification or guidance throughout the exercise. We’ll then spend the final 30 minutes discussing your solution, including your approach, design decisions, and any trade-offs you considered.
