About The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Vendor Manager to own the end-to-end lifecycle of our supplier relationships. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the entire process from initial vendor onboarding through to contract finalisation, daily operational management, and performance tracking.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of hands-on procurement or vendor management experience, possessing a strong drive to build reliable professional networks, enforce compliance, and optimize cost efficiency.

The Role / Job

  • Vendor Onboarding & Integrity: Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding workflow for new suppliers and contractors, ensuring a smooth transition into daily operations; conduct rigorous background checks and pre-screening validations; collect and audit key vendor data for the central master database; and deliver training sessions to new vendors on company workflows, policies, and standards.
  • Relationship Management & Daily Operations: Act as the primary point of contact for external vendors and internal stakeholder teams; maintain strong relationships across the supplier network; and troubleshoot and resolve operational disputes, billing queries, or service performance issues promptly.
  • Performance Tracking & Compliance: Track supplier performance metrics (KPIs and SLAs) to identify risk areas or operational gaps early; participate in regular performance reviews; and manage vendor documentation updates, contract expirations, basic renewals, or cancellations under senior guidance.
  • Contract Support & Market Research: Assist in product pricing and contract negotiations to secure favorable commercial terms, and research prospective new vendors and monitor market developments to unlock cost-saving alternatives.

Knowledge Required The position requires a candidate with 1–3 years of dedicated experience in vendor management, procurement, supply chain coordination, or an equivalent customer/supplier relationship management role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or a related field.

Experience

  • Experience: 1–3 years of dedicated experience in vendor management, procurement, supply chain coordination, or an equivalent relationship management role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint) and familiarity with Vendor Management Systems (VMS) or ERP platforms.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for managing external partners and internal business units.
  • Negotiation: Demonstrated basic negotiation skills with strong, systematic follow-through.
  • Core Strengths: Sharp analytical ability, rigorous attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
