Junior Video Editor

About the role

Entry-level editing role on a small team producing English-language entertainment video. You work on-site alongside a senior editor who trains you.

Key responsibilities

• Edit 15 vertical short-form clips per week, cut from long-form videos
• Source and organise footage into internal library
• Produce thumbnails to a supplied template
• Assist the senior editor on long-form timelines

About you

• Must have the right to work in Thailand without sponsorship
• 1+ year editing experience, or a strong portfolio from school or personal projects
• Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
• Enough English to follow instructions and understand English-language footage
• Fast, organised, and maintain quality when volume increases
• Portfolio required with application
• Photoshop (nice to have)
• Experience making short-form content and understanding what holds attention in the first 2 seconds (nice to have)

Pay

25,000 to 28,000 THB per month.

Process

Application with portfolio and written answers, then interview at our Bangkok office, then a short practical test, then offer. At the end of your office interview we give you a 6-minute video and one hour on one of our machines. You return two vertical clips of 30 to 45 seconds each with captions. We are judging pace and hook.

Probation

119 days, with written reviews at day 45 and day 90 against targets agreed before you sign: 15 short-form delivered per week from week 4, revision rate under 25 percent from week 10, and consistent contribution to the source library.
