Junior Video Editor

The Ranking Geeks is looking for a Junior Video Editor to join our creative team and gain hands-on experience in video editing, social media content creation, motion graphics, and digital marketing .

This role is ideal for aspiring video editors who want to develop their editing skills while working on real-world digital marketing projects and content for international clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit short-form and long-form video content for websites, social media, and digital marketing campaigns.
• Create engaging video content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Edit raw footage by adding transitions, captions, graphics, music, sound effects, and other visual elements.
• Follow creative briefs, editing guidelines, and project requirements.
• Maintain consistency in video quality, branding, style, and visual presentation.
• Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to understand project requirements.
• Review and revise videos based on feedback from team members.
• Organize video files, project assets, and editing projects efficiently.
• Stay updated with current video editing trends and social media content formats.
• Complete assigned projects within deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in video editing or relevant hands-on experience.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects , or similar video editing software.
• Good understanding of video editing, transitions, pacing, audio, and basic color correction.
• Strong interest in video editing, content creation, or digital marketing.
• Good creative sense and attention to detail.
• Ability to understand creative briefs and implement feedback.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• A portfolio or samples of previous video editing work are required.
• Experience working with digital marketing or creative agencies is a plus.
