Junior Video Editor

Job Title: Junior Video Editor (Reels & Short-Form Content)
Location: Onsite, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi
Working Days: Monday - Friday
Timings: 7pm - 4am

About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Video Editor to create engaging reels, short-form videos, and social media content. This is a great opportunity for a creative, trend-savvy editor who enjoys storytelling through fast-paced, scroll-stopping content and wants to grow their skills in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Mass Communication, or a related field (or equivalent portfolio/experience)
• 0–1 year of experience in video editing (internships, freelance, or personal projects welcome)
• Working knowledge of editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or After Effects
• Understanding of reels/shorts formats, pacing, transitions, captions, and trending audio
• Basic knowledge of color correction, sound syncing, and export settings for different platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
• Good communication skills and ability to take creative direction
• A strong sense of visual storytelling and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished reels, shorts, and short-form videos for social media
• Add captions, transitions, music, sound effects, and motion graphics to enhance content
• Stay updated on trending formats, audio, and editing styles across platforms
• Collaborate with the content/marketing team to align videos with brand voice and campaign goals
• Organize and manage video files, project assets, and version control
• Repurpose long-form content into short, platform-optimized clips
• Meet content deadlines and maintain consistent posting schedules
• Incorporate feedback quickly and iterate on edits as needed
