Junior Video Editor - Night Shift

The Ranking Geeks (TRG) is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who understands video editing fundamentals, has a good sense of visual storytelling, and is eager to develop their skills by working on engaging digital content.

You will work with our content and marketing teams to edit videos for social media, digital marketing campaigns, and other content projects while maintaining consistent quality and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble raw footage into engaging, well-structured videos.
• Create short-form video content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social media channels.
• Add transitions, text overlays, subtitles, music, sound effects, and basic motion graphics where appropriate.
• Follow creative briefs, brand guidelines, and feedback from the team.
• Organize video files, project assets, and editing timelines efficiently.
• Make revisions to improve pacing, visual quality, and overall storytelling.
• Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing team members to meet project deadlines.
• Stay updated on video editing techniques, social media formats, and content trends.

Requirements:

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Understanding of video pacing, transitions, audio synchronization, and visual storytelling.
• Familiarity with social media video formats and aspect ratios.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and feedback.
• Good time management and willingness to learn.
• A portfolio or samples of previous editing work are preferred. Personal projects and practice edits are also welcome.

Work Details

• Location: Johar Town, Lahore
• Work Arrangement: Onsite
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 PM – 4:00 AM
• Employment Type: Full-Time
