Position Title: Junior WordPress Developer

Location: Johar Town, Lahore

Timings: 9 AM to 6 PM

We are looking for a Junior WordPress Developer who can independently handle website development, customization, troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization.

What you'll do :

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites for different clients and business requirements.
• Convert Figma designs into fully functional, responsive WordPress websites.
• Convert AI-generated or AI-built websites into properly structured WordPress websites.
• Customize and extend existing WordPress themes, plugins, templates, and functionality.
• Develop custom WordPress features using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Work with Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, and other popular WordPress page builders.
• Work with WooCommerce, custom post types, ACF, forms, and other WordPress functionality.
• Implement basic API integrations and connect WordPress with third-party services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress, plugin, theme, PHP, JavaScript, and compatibility issues.
• Implement functional and design changes while ensuring existing website functionality is not affected.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, responsiveness, and security.
• Handle website migrations, staging environments, backups, and deployment-related tasks.
• Review existing websites and code to identify issues and provide practical solutions.
• Work closely with designers, SEO specialists, project managers, and other developers to complete client requirements.
• Maintain high attention to detail when implementing designs, functionality, and content changes.

What you need :

• 1.5-2 years of hands-on professional WordPress development experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of WordPress and PHP.
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience creating and customizing WordPress themes, templates, and functionality.
• Experience working with Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, and other page builders.
• Experience with WooCommerce and its customization.
• Understanding of WordPress hooks, actions, filters, template hierarchy, custom post types, and custom fields.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and API integrations.
• Ability to convert Figma designs into pixel-accurate, responsive WordPress websites.
• Ability to convert AI-generated websites or designs into clean, functional WordPress websites.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Basic understanding of website performance, caching, security, and optimization.
• Ability to work with existing websites and understand unfamiliar code and setups.
• Strong attention to detail, especially when matching designs, spacing, typography, responsiveness, and functionality.
• Ability to work independently, identify problems, and find practical solutions.
• Good communication skills and ability to understand technical and non-technical requirements.

Preferred :

• Experience working with cPanel/Plesk and hosting environments.
• Experience with Cloudflare.
• Experience with website migrations and troubleshooting hosting-related issues.
• Experience working with third-party plugins, integrations, forms, payment gateways, and external services.

Note :

This is an experienced developer role, not a page-builder-only position. The candidate should be comfortable working with PHP and WordPress functionality, troubleshooting existing websites, implementing designs from Figma, handling custom requirements, and solving technical problems independently.
