K12 Communications Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute targeted communication strategies for K12 educational clients within the accounting sector.
• Create clear, compelling, and accurate content for various platforms including press releases, newsletters, social media, and presentations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to translate complex accounting and financial information into understandable messaging for education stakeholders.
• Manage media relations and serve as a liaison between Caissa Public Strategy and K12 education partners.
• Plan and coordinate events, webinars, and workshops to support client engagement and brand awareness.
• Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication campaigns and report insights to stakeholders for continuous improvement.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends in education, accounting, and communications to ensure innovative and relevant outreach efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Accounting, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in communications, preferably within the accounting or education sectors.
• Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in digital communication tools and social media platforms.
• Ability to understand and convey complex accounting concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external clients in the K12 education environment.
