Do you have a big personality, strong stage presence, love to sing, and feel completely comfortable on a microphone? We want to meet you!

The Last Call is one of the Valley’s busy karaoke destinations, with karaoke 7 nights a week, and we’re looking for experienced, energetic Karaoke Hosts (KJs) to add to our team.

This is an entertainment position, not simply running karaoke software.

You need to be comfortable singing, entertaining a room, interacting with a crowd, and taking control of the microphone. We are specifically looking for people with personality and stage presence who can keep a room engaged throughout the night.

Late-night availability is required. We close at 2:00 AM nightly, and KJs should expect to remain through the end of the night. If you are not comfortable working until 2:00 AM or later, this position will not be a good fit.

We are currently looking for hosts who can work approximately 1–2 shifts per week, making this a great side job for someone who already works in entertainment, music, nightlife, or another flexible position.

We’re also heading into our busy holiday season. Holiday availability is important. The Last Call is open 365 days a year, including holidays, and we need team members who are available when our regular staff may be traveling.

What You’ll Do

• Host an engaging, high-energy karaoke show from start to finish
• Sing and help get the crowd excited and involved
• Welcome guests and interact with singers throughout the night
• Manage the karaoke rotation in an organized and fair manner
• Keep the show moving without unnecessary downtime
• Play crowd-appropriate music between singers
• Read the room and adjust the energy throughout the night
• Create a fun, inclusive atmosphere where both new and experienced singers feel welcome
• Stay organized and composed during extremely busy karaoke nights
• Communicate effectively with bartenders, security, management, and other staff
• Help promote your karaoke nights and encourage guests to return

What We’re Looking For

• Strong personality and stage presence
• Comfortable and confident on a microphone
• Must enjoy singing and be willing to sing
• Comfortable interacting with strangers and large groups
• Able to create energy rather than simply announce singers
• Excellent organization and multitasking skills
• Able to think quickly and stay calm during busy nights
• Reliable, punctual, professional, and dependable
• Positive attitude and team-player mentality
• Previous KJ, DJ, MC, karaoke hosting, or live entertainment experience strongly preferred
• Must be 21+
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be comfortable working late nights through closing
• Weekend and holiday availability required

Schedule

This position can be flexible and may start with approximately 1–2 nights per week, with the possibility of additional shifts based on availability, performance, and business needs.

Because we operate late at night, applicants should have reliable transportation and understand that KJ shifts do not end before our 2:00 AM closing time.
