Karate Coach

Level: Middle

Responsibilities

• Teach foundational techniques including stances, blocks, strikes, kicks, kata, and basic self defence appropriate for middle school learners.
• Build students' balance, coordination, flexibility, strength, and endurance through structured warm ups, drills, and conditioning exercises.
• Organize belt assessments, demonstrations, inter house competitions, and school events showcasing student progress.
• Coordinate with PE teachers, activity coordinators, and school leadership to integrate karate into the broader physical education program.
• Maintain attendance, progress records, safety logs, and event reports.

Requirements

• Black belt certification from a recognized karate association.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field (Preferred).
