Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Karate Instructor to inspire and motivate students of all ages through martial arts training. Duties

• Plan and deliver high-energy karate classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels
• Demonstrate proper techniques in stances, strikes, blocks, and kata (forms) with clarity and precision
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt instruction to meet individual needs
• Enforce safety protocols during training sessions, including proper use of protective gear and adherence to dojo rules
• Maintain a positive environment that encourages teamwork, respect, and discipline among students
• Conduct behavior management to motivate students and address any disruptions effectively
• Assist with event organization such as belt testing, demonstrations, or competitions when needed

Skills

• Proven experience teaching martial arts, specifically karate, with a strong understanding of techniques and training methods
• Background in sports coaching or sports-specific training instruction with a focus on youth development
• Excellent communication skills to clearly demonstrate techniques and engage students of all ages
• Ability to work effectively with children and manage classroom behavior confidently
• Knowledge of first aid procedures including CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation for emergency response preparedness
• Experience working in health clubs or gyms is a plus, along with familiarity in sports team leadership or coaching other sports such as soccer or basketball
• Strong organizational skills to plan classes, track progress, and coordinate events efficiently
