Join Our Team at Kathmandu — International Market Coordinator

Location: Christchurch, New Zealand

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented and passionate about working with our ANZ teams? Do you thrive on coordinating information, managing systems and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes?

We're looking for an International Market Coordinator to join our team and support the continued growth of Kathmandu's international business. This role sits at the heart of our international operations, partnering distributors around the world and collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure accurate information, seamless order execution and exceptional service delivery.

If you enjoy working across multiple functions, love solving problems and have a knack for keeping things organised, this could be your next adventure.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

At Kathmandu, we believe your job should enrich your life — not just fill your time. When you join our team, you get access to a range of genuinely valuable benefits:

  • A brand with purpose
  • We are B Corp certified — sustainability and people are at the heart of everything we do. Work for a business that prioritises protecting the planet and giving back.
  • Gear you’ll love at prices you’ll love more
  • Generous staff discounts across Kathmandu and Rip Curl. Access to additional perks across our wider brand family.
  • Grow with us
  • Meaningful career opportunities across stores, support offices, and distribution in Australia and New Zealand. Pathways into more departments.
  • A culture built on teamwork and adventure
  • Work alongside people who share your passion for the outdoors. Be part of a supportive, fun and inclusive team environment.

As our International Market Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting Kathmandu's international market operations and growth strategies.

Working closely with the Head of International Sales & Brand Development, you'll coordinate with internal stakeholders and distribution partners to ensure product information, pricing, marketing assets and orders are managed accurately and delivered on time.

You will:

  • Coordinate marketing, sales and product information across international markets.
  • Maintain and administer the international SharePoint environment, including permissions and access management.
  • Collaborate with Product teams to ensure seasonal product ranges and pricing information are accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain distributor information, pricing structures and contract-related data within business systems.
  • Support the planning and delivery of international sales meetings and events.
  • Liaise with distributors around the world to provide timely business information and support.
  • Manage and maintain accurate product, pricing and contract data within D365.
  • Help ensure a single source of truth for international product and distributor information.
  • Support international order execution, stock allocation and sales order processing.
  • Partner with Supply Chain teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective product delivery.
  • Generate sales invoices and support timely payment processes.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of systems, processes and international operations.
  • Have the ability to work with different time zones occasionally to liaise with international distributors

This is a varied role that provides exposure to multiple areas of the business and offers the opportunity to build strong relationships while supporting the growth of Kathmandu's international markets.

What We’re Looking For…

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have strong administration or coordination experience.
  • Enjoy working with systems, data and detailed information.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Are highly organised and can manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Take initiative and enjoy finding solutions to problems.
  • Are adaptable, resilient and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have confidence navigating systems and learning new technology.
