Keeper

Role Description The Keeper role at Lazeez Eats is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo. The Keeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including dining areas, storage spaces, and back-of-house sections. Daily tasks include tidying tables and floors, organizing supplies, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring that equipment and utensils are stored safely and correctly. The Keeper supports the kitchen and service teams by replenishing stock, disposing of waste according to hygiene standards, and helping prepare the space for opening and closing. This role requires close cooperation with colleagues to keep the environment safe, efficient, and welcoming for guests.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in food service or similar environments
• Ability to manage inventory, track supplies, and maintain orderly storage areas
• Basic understanding of safety and sanitation practices, including proper handling of cleaning materials
• Reliability and time management skills to follow daily schedules and complete tasks efficiently
• Team-oriented mindset with clear communication skills and willingness to support different departments
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and move between different areas of the restaurant
• Prior experience in hospitality, food service, or facilities support is preferred but not required
• Ability to follow instructions, adapt to changing needs, and maintain a respectful, inclusive attitude toward colleagues and guests
