Kenan Billing System Specialist

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions using the Kenan Billing System.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform system configuration and operational tasks related to Kenan processes.
• Utilize Java, Perl, UNIX, Shell scripting, JBOSS, Oracle, PL/SQL, XML, XSD, and JSON in software development.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software development and maintain high quality standards.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Support the testing and deployment of software applications.
• Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to billing systems.

Mandatory Skills

• Proven experience with Amdocs/Comverse Kenan Billing System (FX 2.0, 3.0, 4.x, or 5.x).
• Hands on experience in Java, Perl, UNIX, Shell scripting, JBOSS, Oracle, PL/SQL, XML, XSD, and JSON.
• Strong knowledge of Kenan API TS (DOM, Hashmap).
• Good understanding of Kenan configuration and operational tasks.
• Familiarity with the systems development lifecycle.
• Experience in software/systems design and development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of billing systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7 10 years of relevant experience in software development, specifically with billing systems.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
