Kennel Attendant

Qualifications

• No prior experience required
• Passion for animals and their well-being
• Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills
• Reliable, patient, and detail-oriented
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically active environment
• Pet First Aid & CPR Certification (required within 3 months of employment)

*Hourly wage negotiable depending on experience*

Responsibilities

• Supervise daycare playgroups and maintain a safe, structured environment using positive reinforcement and proper handling techniques.
• Monitor pets for health, behavior, or temperament changes and promptly communicate concerns to management.
• Feed, water, walk, and provide daily care for boarding and daycare guests according to individual instructions.
• Check pets in and out, ensuring they leave with the correct owner and belongings.
• Accurately document pet behaviors, eating habits, medications, incidents, and daily activities.
• Ensure pets have constant access to fresh water and receive attentive, compassionate care throughout their stay.
• Daily and continuous cleaning including, but not limited to, immediately picking up accidents, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing walls & crates, dishes, laundry, taking out the trash, refilling disinfectants, cleaning kennels, etc.
• Assist with additional facility duties as needed to support team operations and maintain our high standards of care.
