Kennel Attendant

Job Overview

F/T - P/T positions available. The kennel attendant's role is to keep the animals clean, fed, enriched throughout the day, as well as keep the work areas clean, and well stocked. Job Duties are heavily focused on handling dogs, and cats of various temperaments; cleaning & sanitizing; monitoring animal behavior; observing safety rules & regulations; providing customer service; and communicating effectively with staff & the public. While performing these duties, the employee is frequently on their feet the most part of the day, walking several miles, able to lift & carry 50 pounds. The following additional skills will contribute to success in this position: Attention to detail & the ability to stay focused & flexible in a fast paced environment.

Must be 18 or older, and have reliable transportation.
