Duties

• Supervise daily kennel operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality animal care
• Lead and motivate a team of pet care professionals, including kennel attendants and veterinary support staff
• Oversee pet boarding, pet sitting, grooming, and training activities to meet client needs
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards through regular kennel cleaning and facility sanitization
• Handle animal restraint, behavior assessment, and dog handling to ensure safety for pets and staff
• Manage inventory of pet supplies, grooming products, and cleaning materials
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to heavy lifting, team lifting, outdoor work, and animal handling procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience in veterinary settings or as a veterinary technician or assistant
• Strong background in pet sitting, dog training, animal handling, and kennel operations
• Knowledge of animal behavior and restraint techniques to ensure safe interactions
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and outdoor work comfortably throughout the day
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Experience with pet grooming and pet boarding services is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining attention to detail in animal care standards

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 – 40.0 per week
