Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kennel Tech to join our pet care team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care and maintaining a clean, safe environment for animals in our pet boarding facility. This role involves direct dog handling, animal care, and sanitation duties to ensure the well-being of our furry guests. The position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work on Sundays without exception.

Duties

• Handle dogs daily, ensuring their safety and comfort during their stay
• Assist with pet boarding activities, including feeding, monitoring, and providing companionship
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennels and common areas to promote a healthy environment
• Perform regular cleaning tasks to uphold hygiene standards within the facility
• Observe animal behavior to identify any signs of distress or health issues and report concerns promptly
• Support pet care staff in managing animals' needs and ensuring a positive experience for both pets and owners

Skills

• Prior experience handling dogs or working in a kennel or pet care facility preferred
• Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately
• Strong cleaning skills with attention to sanitation standards
• Knowledge of animal behavior is beneficial
• Reliable with a flexible schedule, including availability to work on Sundays without exceptions
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties and handle animals throughout the shift

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
