Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience in animal care and a strong understanding of medical and cleaning protocols to ensure the health and safety of all animals in our facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health and behavior.
• Maintain clean and sanitary kennel environments by following established cleaning protocols.
• Assist with administering medications and basic medical treatments as directed by veterinary staff.
• Observe and report any changes in animal health or behavior to supervisors promptly.
• Ensure all animals are handled safely and humanely at all times.
• Support team members with various tasks related to animal care and facility maintenance.
• Transport animals safely when required, utilizing reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with animals in a kennel, veterinary, or shelter environment.
• Basic medical knowledge related to animal care and medication administration.
• Strong understanding of cleaning and sanitation protocols to maintain a healthy environment.
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
• Compassionate, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
