Kennel Technician/Veterinary Assistant

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic kennel technician/veterinary assistant to join our team in our fast pace, high volume clinic. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for animal care and the ability to multitask efficiently. Berry Animal Hospital has been providing veterinary care to the community since 1952.

At Berry Animal Hospital you have the potential to work with large and small animals as well as occasionally work with exotic animals.

The kennel technicians daily tasks include but are not limited to: walking/caring for the boarding animals, cleaning the kennels and common areas, observing animals and noting any concerns with their behaviors or health, administering oral medications to boarding animals as directed by the veterinarian, assist with housekeeping tasks, assist the veterinarians/technicians holding patients in the rooms during examination/vaccinations, assist the receptionists if/when needed, and restock and ensure rooms are filled with the appropriate items.

Our work schedule is as follows:

Monday 7:30am -12pm and 1pm - 5:30pm

Tuesday 7:30am -12pm and 1pm - 5:30pm

Wednesday 7:30am -12pm (rotate every other)

Thursday 7:30am -12pm and 1pm - 5:30pm

Friday 7:30am -12pm and 1pm - 5:30pm

Saturday 7:30am -12pm (rotate every other)

Sunday - Closed
