What they need
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring experienced veterinary/kennel assistant. Experience with low-stress handling of patients especially dogs and cats in a kennel and/or veterinary environment is especially important. Additional experience with venipuncture, medication administration, microscopy, and anesthesia monitoring are beneficial.
The typical work schedule is four 10 hour days a week. Working in the boarding facility up to four days a week and one weekend day every 2-3 weeks is also required with rotating coverage on national holidays. It is common to rotate into the treatment area of the hospital as needed.
Salary is commensurate with experience.

Pay: $12.50 - $16.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
