As a Keno Writer, you will be responsible for processing cash transactions, verifying cash amounts, maintaining precise records, and supporting the overall guest experience. Your energetic approach and commitment to compliance will help create an engaging and trustworthy gaming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process cash transactions related to Keno bets and payouts, ensuring adherence to casino cash handling protocols and banking regulations
• Verify cash amounts using basic math skills and 10-key typing to ensure correct payouts and record keeping
• Record all betting activity meticulously using data entry skills and maintain organized documentation in accordance with casino policies and GAAP standards
• Assist guests with placing bets, answering questions about game rules, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance their gaming experience
• Monitor cash amounts during shifts to prevent discrepancies, verify cash amounts during shift changeovers, and conduct regular cash amount verification procedures
• Ensure compliance with casino & gaming industry regulations as well as banking regulatory standards during all transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station while adhering to security protocols for casino cash handling

Experience

• Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions accurately in a high-volume environment
• Prior experience in casino operations or gaming industry preferred; familiarity with casino & gaming industry standards is a plus
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for record keeping and reporting purposes
• Experience with banking or retail math, cash handling, and processing cash transactions confidently
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members
• Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) related to financial record keeping is advantageous
• Ability to perform basic math calculations swiftly and accurately; experience with 10-key typing is highly desirable
