About the role

PT Ocean Centra Furnindo is a manufacturing company producing springbeds, mattresses, divans, headboards, sofas, pillows, and other furniture products. PT Ocean Centra Furnindo is seeking an experienced Kepala Gudang (Warehouse Manager) to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in Tangerang, Banten, this is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics coordination. As Warehouse Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient storage, distribution, and handling of goods whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness. This position directly impacts our operational success and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipment of products to ensure timely and accurate delivery
• Managing and supervising warehouse staff, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and scheduling to maintain a productive and motivated team
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Implementing and monitoring warehouse safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and best practices to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulations
• Optimising warehouse layout, storage systems, and logistics processes to improve efficiency, reduce handling times, and minimise operational costs
• Coordinating with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations and customer requirements are met
• Monitoring equipment maintenance and reporting issues to ensure all warehouse machinery and tools are in optimal working condition
• Preparing and analysing warehouse performance reports, including productivity metrics, cost analysis, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry standards relating to storage, handling, and distribution of goods

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role within the logistics, storage, or distribution industry
• Proven track record in managing warehouse operations, inventory management, and warehouse teams
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate, train, and develop warehouse staff
• Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software; knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is essential
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement improvements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal departments and external partners
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices in warehouse operations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business requirements
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in inventory and operational reporting
