About the role

PT. PUMASINDO is seeking an experienced and dedicated Shift Leader to join the operational team in Kabupaten Bandung, West Java. As Shift Leader, you will play a strategic role in leading and overseeing production machine operations during your shift, ensuring maximum efficiency, workplace safety, and achievement of production targets. This position offers an opportunity to demonstrate strong leadership in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise machine operator teams during shift work to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Monitor production machine performance and conduct routine inspections to detect potential issues early
• Ensure workplace safety and implementation of strict safety standards across the production floor
• Manage operational scheduling, work tasks, and resource allocation to achieve daily production targets
• Coordinate with related departments for project completion and production problem-solving
• Record and report shift activities, production, and safety incidents to management
• Provide training and guidance to machine operators regarding operational procedures and safety
• Manage preventive maintenance and machine repairs to minimize production downtime

About you

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a shift leader in the manufacturing industry
• Deep understanding of production machines, manufacturing processes, and operational standards
• Strong leadership capability with experience leading and managing teams
• Knowledge of workplace safety (K3) and industrial safety regulations
• Effective problem analysis and problem-solving capabilities
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Able to work in shift work including night shifts, morning shifts, and weekends as needed for operational requirements
• Minimum education SMA or equivalent; technical mechanical or related education will be an added value
• K3 certification or workplace safety training is an additional advantage
