Kerbstone Machine Operator

1. Operate hydraulic press machines for the production of concrete kerbstones.
2. Operate and monitor MASA, Forest or similar hydraulic press production machines.
3. Operate and monitor the concrete mixer and ensure correct mix consistency for production.
4. Perform mould changing, mould installation, alignment and machine setup for different kerbstone sizes and profiles.
5. Adjust machine pressure, vibration, feeding and production settings to achieve the required product quality.
6. Monitor the complete production cycle including mixing, feeding, pressing, demoulding and product handling.
7. Check kerbstone dimensions, compaction, surface finish, edges and overall product quality during production.
8. Identify machine or production problems and perform basic hydraulic and mechanical troubleshooting.
9. Coordinate with maintenance staff when repairs or adjustments are required.
10. Maintain daily production targets while minimizing rejection, breakage and production downtime.
11. Ensure proper cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of the machine, mixer and moulds.
12. Follow factory safety procedures and production instruction

Desired Candidate Profile

1. minimum 3 years of hands-on experience operating hydraulic press machines for concrete kerbstone production.
2. Previous experience with MASA or Forest machines is highly preferred.
3. Must have practical experience in mixer operation and concrete mix adjustment.
4. Must have practical experience in mould changing, mould installation, alignment and machine adjustment.
5. Good knowledge of hydraulic press operation, vibration and production settings.
6. Able to troubleshoot basic mechanical and hydraulic problems.
7. Previous experience in a concrete kerbstone manufacturing factory is mandatory.
8. Candidates with only general construction experience and no hydraulic press production experience should not apply.
