About the Role

We're looking for a highly organized, commercially driven Key Account Manager to support and grow our Walmart, Walmart.ca, and McKesson businesses.

This role is responsible for managing customer relationships, executing sales and promotional initiatives, supporting e-commerce growth, analyzing business performance, and partnering cross-functionally to deliver exceptional results. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, takes ownership of outcomes, and is passionate about driving growth.

Duties & Key Responsibilities:

Walmart & McKesson Account Management

  • Support the day-to-day management and growth of Walmart, Walmart.ca, and McKesson accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer contacts and internal stakeholders.
  • Support customer meetings, business reviews, line reviews, and annual planning processes.
  • Manage customer requests, action items, and deliverables, ensuring timely execution and follow-through.
  • Coordinate new item listings, assortment updates, pricing changes, and product launches.

Sales & Business Performance

  • Monitor sales, distribution, inventory, and promotional performance across accounts.
  • Analyze POS, inventory, and customer data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Support forecasting, demand planning, and annual business planning activities.
  • Develop performance reporting and account insights to support decision-making and customer strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to increase distribution, improve sell-through, and drive incremental sales.

Walmart.ca & E-Commerce

  • Support the ongoing growth of the Walmart.ca business.
  • Monitor online sales, assortment, pricing, availability, and content accuracy.
  • Manage product listings and ensure product content aligns with brand standards.
  • Support online promotions, new product launches, and digital merchandising initiatives.
  • Analyze e-commerce performance and recommend opportunities to improve conversion and sales.

Customer Execution & Operations

  • Support the execution of promotional programs, merchandising initiatives, and customer-specific projects.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure successful execution of customer commitments.
  • Monitor inventory levels, service metrics, and in-stock performance to minimize lost sales opportunities.
  • Manage customer portals, reporting tools, and administrative requirements.
  • Support issue resolution related to inventory, product setup, pricing, deductions, compliance, and operational performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams to deliver account objectives.
  • Communicate customer priorities, opportunities, and commitments across the organization.
  • Contribute to business reviews, presentations, forecasting processes, and strategic initiatives.
  • Help identify process improvements and opportunities to improve performance across the business.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in CPG, retail, account management, category management, trade marketing, or a related commercial role.
  • Experience working with major retailers; Walmart experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with distributors, wholesalers, pharmacy, healthcare, or McKesson accounts is an asset.
  • Experience supporting e-commerce businesses, preferably Walmart.ca, is considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting sales, inventory, distribution, and promotional data.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Retail Link, Luminate/Scintilla, Supplier One, Item 360, or similar retail reporting tools is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field preferred.

What Success Looks Like in this Role

  • Strong execution of customer commitments, promotions, and new product launches.
  • Consistent sales growth and identification of new business opportunities.
  • Accurate forecasting and effective inventory management.
  • Strong Walmart.ca content, availability, and promotional execution.
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration and relationship management.
  • Reliable ownership, follow-through, and attention to detail.
