Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Key Associate to join our retail team, playing a vital role in ensuring smooth store operations, exceptional customer service, and effective team management. As a Key Associate, you will be responsible for supporting daily store functions, supervising staff, managing inventory, and fostering a welcoming environment for customers. Your leadership and organizational skills will help drive sales growth and operational excellence, making a positive impact on both the team and the overall shopping experience.

Duties

• Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management
• Supervise and motivate retail sales team members to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
• Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team performance and product knowledge
• Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing adjustments, and inventory control
• Handle customer inquiries with professionalism via phone etiquette and in-person interactions, ensuring high satisfaction levels
• Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing prospective employees and onboarding new hires
• Manage operational tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and store maintenance to ensure efficiency

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within the retail industry sales team management environment
• Strong skills in negotiation, sales management, and customer service excellence
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively
• Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, cashiering, and basic math skills for retail math calculations
• Excellent communication skills with managerial communication experience; capable of supervising staff and coordinating team activities
• Knowledge of inventory management systems, merchandising techniques, pricing strategies, and operational management practices
• Experience with recruiting, interviewing candidates, employee orientation, training & development is advantageous
• Ability to manage time efficiently across shift management duties while maintaining organizational skills
• Familiarity with grocery store or retail store product knowledge is a plus; experience in wireless sales or grocery environments is beneficial
• Strong leadership qualities with a focus on team management, supervision experience, and operational oversight
• We train in bra fitting
