Key Business Manager

Role & responsibilities : Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager Modern Trade to manage and grow key modern trade accounts such as Reliance and D-Mart.

The role involves driving sales performance, executing joint business plans, ensuring strong in-store execution, and building long-term retailer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow assigned Modern Trade key accounts (e.g., Reliance, D-Mart).
• Drive sales volumes and achieve monthly/quarterly targets.
• Execute Joint Business Plans (JBP) with key retailers.
• Plan and implement promotions, visibility initiatives, and in-store activations.
• Monitor inventory levels to avoid out-of-stock (OOS) situations.
• Handle commercial negotiations, purchase orders (POs), and claims management. • Coordinate with internal teams for smooth execution and supply alignment.
• Analyze sales data, trends, and performance to identify growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retailer stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile : Required Candidate Profile

• Experience in handling Modern Trade FMCG accounts.
• Strong negotiation and commercial acumen.
• Hands-on experience with POs, claims, and retailer coordination.
• Ability to analyze sales data and convert insights into action plans.
• Strong relationship management and communication skills.
• Target-driven with a proactive approach.

Education

• UG: Any Graduate
• PG: Any Postgraduate (preferred)
